You can enter custom SQL statements in OrgPublisher to help you extract information from your database. The Custom SQL button, in the New Chart Wizard, allows you to enter, or copy and paste SQL commands into the Custom SQL dialog box.

The Custom SQL feature is used frequently when  customers using an ODBC connection upgrade to a newer version  of OrgPublisher.  They can simply copy their existing, working SQL statement from version  8, to the Custom SQL dialog window in the New Chart Wizard in version 9, for example.
