How does OrgPublisher retain the formatting I have created when connecting to a Directory Connection?

OrgPublisher creates two files when you build charts with the OrgPublisher Directory Connector. The file types are .odb and .otm.

The .odb file contains the connection information to your directory server. The .otm file contains the formatting information. The same name is used for both files. For example, if you created a connection called test, you would have a test.odb and a test.otm file for this connection.
